Currently various bookstores keep my novel on the shelves, although they are all located in norther Minnesota and Fargo, North Dakota. But don't despair! You can order this incredible novel at most bookstores, and any major media outlet store (Media Play, Barnes and Noble, etc.) Amazon and other online bookstores also carry it, of course. They will, however charge full price. Clicking on the link below can save you some $$$!
Of course, signed editions can only be found at the stores listed above. Supplys are limited, however. I can only hit those stores so often!

The next novel (Tenatively titled 'Skyrock') is currently in production. While it have been slow going, what with graduation and all, I hope to have it finished soon, and possibly published by next summer. My apologies to those patiently waiting! More info will be posted as it develops . . .

Below is a very small part of the first chapter of Skyrock, the very tenative name of the next book in my small, but proud series. If you even remotely liked The Phase Transistion, you'll love Skyrock. Hell, buy nine copies! (Well, buy 9 copies once they come into print. I'm still working on it, silly!)
Chapter One
Brian DuPont examined the pitiful party that followed him and sighed. Noting the position of the sun in the sky he drew reign and called for camp to be set up. He watched as the strong assisted the weak off their mounts, and the group slowly started to prepare their bivouacs. The motions had become routine in the last week, their actions automatic, without thought. Brian saw how Clint helped the young blind girl Samantha off her horse and he closed his eyes, guilt causing an almost physical pain. His mind drifted over the last few days.
They had left the relative safety of the barn the morning after the battle. Their pace was slow but sure, Hank, Helen, and Riho assisting John Longfeather in setting up camp, cooking, and hunting. Procuring horses had not been a problem, they were scattered everywhere after the brutal battle the day previous. The band of refugees had slowly made their way northeast, heading steadily towards Skyrock. Brian often thought that their goal was the only thing that kept any of them sane.
“They should be cracking right now,” Brian thought to himself, examining them though his magic-heightened senses. “They’re grievously injured, exhausted, and surrounded by enemies. They should be giving up. . .”
Yet they were not. Helen took special care of Samantha, leading the now sightless girl to an out of the way spot and making sure Goliath stood near her. The ranger need not have bothered, the huge wolfhound had not left Sam’s side in the last week, he guarded her like she was his own. Hank did the same with his mother, leading the worn looking Dreamer to a fallen tree, while Riho immediately headed towards the woods to set snares.
Martina and James were also looked after, Clint and Sean caring for the wounded. Della was assisted off her horse by the Professor, she insisted that she try and heal the ensanguined further every night, though she was constantly exhausted by the process.
Brian dismounted and tied up his horse. He was the only one who could control his magic, aside from the Professor, and the young man wanted to search the area by both magical and mundane means before they got too comfortable. Halfway through his circuit, he was stopped by John Longfeather.
“Brian, I must speak with you.”
“What’s on your mind, John?” Brian asked civilly. He knew where this was headed already, and was not pleased.
“Brian, we are traveling far too slowly. Every moment’s delay means there’s less of a chance that Skyrock will be safe for us to return to. We need to pick up the pace!”
“Impossible. Look at these people, John. They’re barely making as it is. Even I’m hard pressed to maintain this speed.” Brian absently touched his abdomen, where pink scar tissue covered two large puncture wounds. Della had healed him after the gorgon’s attack, but he was far from whole.
“Then we must separate, the strong traveling ahead with the Master. We could--”
“No.” Brian replied harshly, slashing his hand in front of him in a gesture of denial. “We will not separate. Only Hank and I are in any condition to defend the group, and there could be Black and White Order troops anywhere. I won’t risk it.”
John saw the fierce determination in Brian’s eyes, and sighed.
“Fine. I see you won’t be swayed. I just hope there’s a Skyrock to come home to.”
Brian watched the hunter walk away angrily, and his brow furrowed. They would have Skyrock, there was no doubt in his mind about that. Weather or not it would take the Dragon to procure it, Brian didn’t know.
